Dear colleagues,

The Atmospheric Remote Sensing Group (https://you.stonybrook.edu/zwang/) at
Stony Brook University's School of Marine and Atmospheric Sciences (SoMAS)
invites applications for two positions in multi-sensor atmospheric remote
sensing, focusing on using airborne remote sensing and in situ measurements
to study cloud properties and processes (especially mixed-phase clouds) and
their interactions with boundary layer process or improving the
Multi-function Airborne Raman Lidar (MARLi) and Airborne Doppler Lidar
(ADL) observation capabilities or developing new lidar capacities and
supporting field data collections.

*Postdoctoral Associate/Senior Postdoctoral Associate:*
*• Required*: Ph.D. (or foreign equivalent) in hand by December 2025.
Related research experience in atmospheric observation and data analyses.
*• Preferred*: Ph.D. (or foreign equivalent) in Atmospheric Sciences,
Engineering, Physics, or a closely related field. Experience in cloud and
atmospheric boundary layer observations, modeling, and data analysis, or in
Raman and Doppler lidar system development. Strong software development
background with programming experience in Python, C++, MATLAB, or LabVIEW.
*• Salary:* $50,000 - $73,000 commensurate with experience.
