The research group of Prof. Jing Wei at the College of Environmental Sciences and Engineering, Peking University, invites applications for highly motivated postdoctoral researchers to join ourteam. We are at the forefront of air quality research, leveraging cutting-edge technologies to address critical environmental challenges.

Dr. Jing Wei (PI), an Assistant Professor at Peking University and recipient of the prestigious AGU James R. Holton Award (2022), leads a research program focused on air quality using satellite remote sensing, atmospheric modeling, and advanced data science. Key research areas include:

Atmospheric aerosols, particulate matter (PM), and its chemical composition

Atmospheric trace and greenhouse gases (e.g., O₃, NO₂, CH₄, CO, CO₂)

Air pollutant modeling and forecasting, human exposure, and health impact assessment

Combined environmental health impacts of air pollution and extreme weather

Development and application of (explainable) artificial intelligence, including machine, deep, and transfer learning
