Tulane University seeks a collaborative scholar to serve within the School of Science and Engineering as an assistant professor in the Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences, starting July 1, 2026. The successful candidate will be a recognized scholar who will enhance and augment the Solid Earth research team and contribute to our education and service missions. We seek a candidate whose research has applications in energy systems, including critical minerals for the energy transition, and who strengthens university-wide energy initiatives.
