Job Opportunity: Director of SOCIB Consortium ​ The SOCIB Consortium (Coastal Observation System of the Balearic Islands) is seeking a Director through a competitive selection process. ​

Key Details:

*	Position: Senior Management role overseeing SOCIB's operations, scientific excellence, and strategic direction. ​
*	Location: Palma de Mallorca, Balearic Islands, Spain. ​
*	Responsibilities: ​ 

*	Direct and administer the Consortium. ​
*	Manage human resources, financial resources, and contracts. ​
*	Develop scientific programs, budgets, and annual reports. ​
*	Represent SOCIB legally and internationally. ​
*	Promote SOCIB's geographical expansion and global impact. ​

Requirements: ​

*	Senior scientist with recognized national and international prestige. ​
*	Extensive experience in research, management of research centers, and SOCIB's area of interest. ​
*	Proven ability to manage teams and attract external resources. ​
*	Fluency in Spanish and English. ​

Selection Process: ​

1.	CV evaluation. ​
2.	Personal interview (in Spanish or English). ​

Start Date: Expected incorporation on 19 September 2025. ​
