[ES_JOBS_NET] Short-term contract oceanographer, USGS Woods Hole

The US Geological Survey has an immediate opening for a short-term contract to a post-doc / early career oceanographer to help improve our Total Water Level / Coastal Change forecasts (https://coastal.er.usgs.gov/hurricanes/research/twlviewer/). Funding is available from Aug. 1 to end of March 2026. There is a chance the contract can be extended for an additional year. The position description lists extensive ocean modeling experience, but background in coastal photogrammetry or nearshore dynamics is also suitable. Location is flexible, in-person in Woods Hole, MA is preferred. Apply here
