The Department of Geography at Dartmouth College seeks a postdoctoral scholar to contribute to the development of a dynamic and inclusive research group focused on hydroclimate variability and change.
Applicants should be interested in precipitation variability and change in observations compared to Earth system models, as well as the influence of large-scale atmospheric circulation on precipitation. The postdoctoral researcher can focus on mean or extreme precipitation, analyze existing idealized simulations and design their own, and develop methods to distinguish between the dynamic and thermodynamic contributions to precipitation change.
