Job Description:
The Department of Physics at The University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) is seeking atmospheric scientists for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level. Successful candidates are expected to develop productive research programs, mentor and teach at both the undergraduate and graduate levels and to direct Ph.D. dissertations in atmospheric physics.
Requirements:
Applicants must have a Ph.D. in Physics, or Environmental Sciences and Engineering or in a related science field. A strong record of research accomplishments, numerical modeling experience and the capacity to secure extramural funding in Atmospheric Sciences. Preference will be given to those applicants with postdoctoral experience in Atmospheric Sciences.
