The Dept. of Atmospheric Sciences at the University of North Dakota is seeking qualified applicants, for an Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor, within the Department of Atmospheric Sciences.  The position may be tenured or tenure track.  

Expertise is sought in the areas of aviation meteorology, boundary-layer meteorology, climate dynamics and modeling, cloud physics and atmospheric chemistry, energy sustainability and renewable energy, mesoscale meteorology and severe storms, stratospheric research, social science, and/or atmospheric science applications involving machine learning or artificial intelligence.

This is a 9-month full time benefitted position.

The start date of the appointment is 16 August 2025.  Passing a criminal history records check, and completion of a Ph.D. in Atmospheric Sciences or related field is required.
