Dear Colleagues,

We seek a postdoc to join the Astrobiochemistry and the TD Geomorphology Laboratories at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV), led by Drs. Eloi Camprubí-Casas (Primary Mentor) and Tian Y. Dong (Co-Mentor), this Fall 2024, will work on broad questions in Planetary Science with examples listed below. What topics and questions can you work on:
*              How biosignatures are affected by riverine dynamics in extraterrestrial environments, with applications to exploration efforts for Titan and Mars.
*              Are chemical or morphological biosignatures altered due to riverine dynamics?
*              How does sedimentary deposition affect biosignature preservation and detectability?
*              Are biosignatures spatially segregated predictably across sedimentary basins, informing current and future space exploration efforts?
*              Possibility of conducting a terrestrial analogy study
