Exciting opportunity to work in the newly formed Building Embodied Carbon Policy Section. These positions will develop a reporting system for lifecycle assessments of building materials, create a comprehensive strategy to ensure 40 percent reduction in carbon intensity of building materials by 2035, and conduct costs and feasibility analysis of policy approaches. The selected candidate will also work closely with the Building Standards Commission, Department of Housing and Community Development, Energy Commission, and other public agencies and industry stakeholders.
