Dear all,

we have an opening for a postdoctoral fellow / academic councilor to work on urban-scale air quality modeling in the domain of environmental health sciences. The focus of the role will be to research ways to link numerical models of air quality at the urban scale with dynamic emission descriptions, e.g., from agent-based modeling of population behavior. 

The position will contribute to several recently funded projects in which we collaborate with the University Hospital Augsburg, Helmholtz Munich, TUM and LMU Munich and the German Aerospace Center (DLR) Oberpfaffenhofen. The successful candidate will supervise PhD students within these projects.

The post will be based in the Chair of Model-based Environmental Exposure Science at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Augsburg, and is available in the first instance for a period of 3 years, with the possibility of extension.
