The Climate School of Columbia University <https://www.climate.columbia.edu>
invites applications for an Associate Research Scientist position to study
Atmospheric Chemistry and Climate Connections at NASA GISS. This research
opportunity seeks an applicant that is interested in global-scale gaseous
chemical mechanism related to ozone, methane, reactive carbon and nitrogen
species, and investigating Earth system processes related to vegetation,
the ocean, fires, and/or ice, and the impacts on oxidation, air pollution,
climate forcing, and stratospheric processes, such as heterogeneous
chemistry and multiphase chemistry, via atmospheric chemistry. A strong
