<a href="https://www.climate.columbia.edu">Climate School of Columbia University</a>
invites applications for an Associate Research Scientist position to study Atmospheric Chemistry and Climate Connections at NASA GISS. This research opportunity seeks an applicant that is interested in
global-scale gaseous chemical mechanism related to ozone, methane,
reactive carbon and nitrogen species, and investigating Earth system
processes related to vegetation, the ocean, fires, and/or ice, and the
impacts on oxidation, air pollution, climate forcing, and stratospheric
processes, such as heterogeneous chemistry and multiphase chemistry, via
atmospheric chemistry. A strong background or interest in modeling is
required. <br></div><div>More information can be found here: <a href="https://www.giss.nasa.gov/about/jobs/columbia_20240801.html">https://www.giss.nasa.gov/about/jobs/columbia_20240801.html</a> </div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div><div dir="ltr" class="gmail_signature" data-smartmail="gmail_signature"><div dir="ltr">Best,<br clear="all"><div><div dir="ltr"><div dir="ltr"><div><div dir="ltr"><div><div dir="ltr"><span><div><div dir="ltr"><div><div dir="ltr"><div><div dir="ltr"><div><div dir="ltr"><div><div dir="ltr">Keren Mezuman, PhD <br></div><div dir="ltr">Associate Research Scientist</div><div>Center for Climate Systems Research, Columbia University</div><div><a href="https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=https-3A__pubs.giss.nasa.gov_authors_kmezuman.html&d=DwMFaQ&c=009klHSCxuh5AI1vNQzSO0KGjl4nbi2Q0M1QLJX9BeE&r=DEVX3GvlDWZGwLwGubmVaSmRe8OwpAkDVr9AP0KU_S4&m=33ehIF2V7jIAPJxWS5U9bapLbLAPZOUMJM4ObZc2c0I16vym-TavEC7jV8V91jlY&s=Uw8KtpYI8_Da9DZgG3In08J9RgIWLsqIUDJnFHkOtI4&e=" target="_blank">NASA Goddard Institute for Space Studies</a></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></span></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div>
