The Colgate Environmental Studies Program is accepting applications for a
tenure-stream assistant professor position in the environmental sciences.
Our interdisciplinary program is vibrant, growing, and has strengths in
policy-centered and solutions-focused research, conducted in collaboration
with our students and the regional community. We welcome applications from
environmental scientists whose research incorporates a socioecological
systems framework, traditional ecological knowledge, knowledge
co-production, or similar innovative cross-disciplinary approaches to
address topics such as agriculture and food systems, biodiversity
management, sustainable resource use and management, ecosystem services,
ecotoxicology, mitigation of and resilience to climate change, among others.

Colgate University is a primarily undergraduate institution in Upstate NY
with a student body of 3200. I am happy to answer any questions potential
applicants may have.
