The common focus of these positions is on better understanding the predictability of Western US hydroclimate. While these two positions seek candidates who will approach this problem from different angles, the work will be done in a collaborative environment as a part of the S2S2D (Sub-seasonal to Seasonal to Decadal) team at NOAA Physical Sciences Laboratory. This is a great opportunity to advance our knowledge and capabilities on a problem of significant societal importance

Dear Christen:

I don’t anticipate issues if you use the language highlighted in yellow. Please let me know if you do. You would just add the hyperlinks to the titles. Questions?
Jimena

Hello Jimena,

When I submit the two postings to the listservs, should I use the wording Joe has provided below? I am not sure how this will look or read on posting boards but I can send them this way and see if we get any feedback from list masters or moderators. Thank you!

The other thing is that we want to send these to mailing lists etc as a pair. Here is some proposed text to append to the job position links when we are ready to advertise. -- Comments welcome.
