Job Description Summary:
Project Scientist I will conduct interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary
(i.e., convergence) research on climate-society interactions, with a focus
on connecting climate science and information to decision- and
policy-making for climate resilience and equitable adaptation.

This position will have an initial focus on climate-related heat risks, but
there will be an opportunity to expand to other risks exacerbated by
climate change, such as flooding, water and air quality, etc. Further, this
position will involve working closely and regularly with a diverse team of
physical scientists, social scientists, other scientists and engineers, and
users.
