I am pleased to announce an open position in the newly formed Remote Sensing Data Analysis Section at the California Air Resources Board.  This section will be responsible for collecting, managing, and analyzing methane plume detections obtained through remote sensing from satellites and aircraft.  Methane is a potent greenhouse gas and mitigating these unintended leaks will be critical for solving our climate crisis.

This position will help automate our data processing pipeline, develop quality assurance checks, and create web-based data visualization dashboards.  Experience with machine learning and cloud computing is highly desirable.
