Hello,

The MANO project is currently recruiting for an internship with the U.S
Fish and Wildlife Service Headquarters!

Who Are We?

MANO (My Access to Network Opportunities) Project, an initiative of
Hispanic Access Foundation, builds and develops young leaders of color who
share a passion for serving and strengthening their communities. We partner
with federal land management agencies (U.S. Forest Service, U.S. Fish and
Wildlife Service, and many more!) to offer robust and hands-on internship
and fellowship opportunities for those pursuing college degrees
(undergraduate and graduate) or recently graduated individuals. All of our
internships and fellowships are rooted in supporting the Conservation of
our Natural Resources through diverse STEAM (Science, Technology,
Engineering, Arts, Math) positions.

The Position:

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Headquarters, is offering an immersive
internship experience within the National Wildlife Refuge System (NWRS)
through the MANO Project. This internship presents a unique chance for
college students to work at the national headquarters in Falls Church, VA,
for a period of 12 months.

As an NWRS Library Science / Business Analyst Fellow, interns will be
involved in various projects including:

   -

    Digitization of physical records
   -

    Development of digital file systems
   -

    Participation in strategic planning discussions.
   -

    Work with diverse teams and explore leadership development avenues.


We encourage students from all Science, Technology, Arts, and Mathematics
(STEM) backgrounds to apply pursuing associate degrees or above, we welcome
their passion for the outdoors, civil and public service, and interest in
the US Fish and Wildlife Service.

Benefits:

To support interns during their tenure, a biweekly pay stipend, monthly
housing stipend, commuting stipend, travel reimbursement, health insurance
coverage, professional development funds, and paid time off are provided.
