[ES_JOBS_NET] Two assistant or associate professor positions in Montreal

The Geography Department at Université de Montréal<https://geographie.umontreal.ca/english/home/> invites applications for two tenure-track positions at the assistant or associate professor rank: one in GIS and one in hydrology.

For the GIS position, we are interested in candidates that (explicitly or critically) manipulate mapping and/or spatial analysis tools to study social and/or environmental dynamics within the main disciplines of geography. The selected person will enrich our teaching program in geomatics and will strengthen our main research themes or develop new ones, including (but not exclusive to) political geographies, feminist geography, indigenous geography, climate change, or natural risks.

For the hydrology position, candidates should have an expertise in any of the hydrology sub-disciplines that will complement the main research areas already present in the department. We strongly encourage applications from candidates that have or intend to develop a strong field-based research program.
