Description

AgencyIQ is a research and intelligence product at POLITICO that provides
regulatory professionals with reliable access to high-value insights,
real-time data, and non-partisan journalism.

Since launching last year, AgencyIQ has successfully built a reputation as
a high-quality provider of premium research and intelligence to regulatory
professionals at many of the world’s leading pharmaceutical, medical
device, and biotechnology companies.

Our objective now is to establish a new regulatory research and
intelligence division supporting the chemicals industry. We are seeking an
experienced European Union regulatory research and intelligence analyst to
contribute to AgencyIQ’s new chemicals vertical.

*What You'll Do:*

   - Create content by researching, analyzing, and writing about EU
   regulatory developments in chemicals management, sustainability, and the
   circular economy.
   - Participate in webinars and other deliverables concerning chemicals
   legislation in the European Union
   - Deliver research and analysis intended for regulatory professionals
   and executives in the chemicals industry by providing insight into EU
   regulatory and policy events impacting related products and companies.
   - Provide regulatory support for clients (including answering clients'
   inquiries, conducting quality assurance and expert review of regulatory
   data)
   - Assess the relevance of regulatory change, articulating the type and
   degree of impact on products and companies, and contextualizing regulatory
   events for an audience of knowledgeable professionals.

*What You'll Need:*

   - At least one year of experience analyzing EU legislation at an agency
   (e.g., ECHA, EFSA, EEA, EU-OSHA), consulting firm, think tank, or private
   enterprise
   - Knowledge of EU chemicals legislation and/or related policies (e.g.,
   REACH, CLP, BPR, Chemicals Strategy for Sustainability, Circular Economy
   Action Plan) highly desirable
   - Excellent writing skills, preferably with at least two years of
   professional experience
   - The ideal candidate will have some experience and familiarity with the
   chemicals industry in the EU.
   - Fluency / proficiency in one or more EU member states’ languages - *nice
   to have*
