[ES_JOBS_NET] Research Technician Opening in the Blaszczak Aquatic Ecosystem Ecology Lab at the University of Nevada Reno

The Blaszczak Aquatic Ecosystem Ecology Lab at the University of Nevada, Reno (UNR) is seeking a field and lab research technician to assist PhD students and a postdoc with projects funded by the National Science Foundation to investigate cyanotoxin production in rivers in northern California, Nevada, and Utah. This position is funded for approximately three years starting as early as January 2023, but the technician can start as late as June 2023 if needed. This position includes spending summers and early fall at the Angelo Coast Range Reserve field station in northern CA, where housing and research-related travel expenses will be covered. The technician will be based out of Reno, Nevada for the remainder of the year. A strong candidate for the position has previous research (lab and/or field) and data analysis experience (e.g. R, statistics coursework) and has a strong interest in being a part of a collaborative team. This position is ideal for candidates seeking post-baccalaureate research experience.
