Graduate student (M.S. or Ph.D.) assistantships are available in Geoscience (with a concentration in Environmental Geoscience) at Saint Louis University’s Department of Earth & Atmospheric Sciences to study environmental geochemistry topics. Research topics broadly relate to the transport and fate of pollutants (including toxic metals, microplastics, and nutrients) in urban, agricultural, and carbonate critical zones.



Successful applicants will receive full tuition waivers, stipends, and health benefits. Qualified applicants will have a B.S. in environmental science, geoscience, geology, or related field, GPA of at least 3.0, and strong work ethic. The anticipated start date is Fall 2023. To be considered for financial support, applications should be completed by January 2, 2023. Applications, which must be submitted online at http://www.slu.edu/apply.php, include a professional goal statement, CV, three letters of recommendation, transcripts, responses to question prompts, and, for international applicants, demonstration of English proficiency.
