Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Laboratory Researcher III (Ocean Data Analyst) for The Rutgers University Center for Ocean Observing Leadership (RUCOOL). This Center is a large multi-disciplinary research group focused on carrying out societally important ocean science. It conducts research around the world using novel autonomous underwater technologies, integrated with remote sensing and numerical modeling techniques. These technologies provide large environmental data sets that are analyzed for a range of theoretical and applied data products.

Among the key duties of this position are to support COOL's work on in situ data processing on autonomous underwater vehicles focused on revolutionizing sensing capabilities on distributed autonomous networks. This work will focus on management of multiple environmental data streams as well as supporting occasional work on hardware used in field deployments.
