The hydroclimatology group<https://sites.google.com/view/chenclimate> at the Department of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences is seeking MS or PhD applicants interested in hydroclimatology, land-atmosphere interactions, climate modeling, and extreme events. The graduate student will be fully funded by research and/or teaching assistantships. The expected starting date is Spring/Fall 2023.


Required qualifications:


   - BS or MS degree in Meteorology, Climatology, Geography, Earth Science, or a closely related discipline;

   - Experience with computer programming, quantitative data analysis, and remote sensing;

   - Excellent written and oral communication skills.
