Dear Colleague,

We are advertising for a postdoc and/or research scientist to contribute to studies of aerosol-cloud-climate interactions in the E3SM model. This is part of a new focused effort to diagnose and correct sources of model bias in E3SM's aerosol-cloud-climate processes. The successful candidate will join a newly-formed E3SM aerosol working group coordinated by Susannah Burrows and will have opportunities to contribute to the E3SM atmosphere model development.

The successful candidate for the postdoctoral position will be co-mentored by Susannah Burrows and Johannes Mülmenstädt and will focus initially on implementing diagnostics that enable separation of the aerosol-cloud radiative forcing and rapid adjustments in E3SM. More details can be found here<https://careers.pnnl.gov/jobs/4116?lang=en-us>.

The successful candidate for the research scientist position will join the aerosol working group and may also have opportunities to contribute to other projects within the Atmospheric Sciences and Global Change Division, depending on their research interests and experience. More details can be found here<https://careers.pnnl.gov/jobs/4111?lang=en-us>.

Would you please pass this on to interested candidates? Please also feel free to reach out with questions about either position.

Best wishes,

Susannah and Johannes
