JPL’s Tropospheric Composition group seeks a motivated postdoctoral researcher eager to work with a diverse and interdisciplinary team of scientists and support staff from JPL and elsewhere in a highly collaborative project environment.

Our group studies the impact of natural and human activity on air quality and atmospheric composition across the world and uses various new tools and data, such as tropospheric chemistry reanalysis products that integrate a range of satellite products, to address frontier science questions. The successful candidate will utilize recently developed tools and datasets to provide new understanding of large-scale transport processes and the remote impacts of natural and human activity on the global and local atmospheric environment and climate, including surface air quality, with a focus on long-range and extreme transport of precursor pollutants.
