Job Summary
The College of Engineering and Applied Science (CEAS) at the University of Colorado Boulder is launching a new college-wide search for multiple tenure-track faculty positions rostered among any of the six departments in the college. We anticipate hiring at the assistant professor rank, although qualified candidates will be considered at the associate and full professor levels.
This search is motivated by the four core values of the college's strategic vision: accelerate our research impact to produce advances in technology and benefits to society, embrace our public education mission including expanding access and participation of diverse and underrepresented communities in engineering and computer science, increase our global engagement, and enrich our professional environment.

Who We Are
Founded in 1893, the College of Engineering and Applied Science at the University of Colorado Boulder (CU Boulder) is the second largest of seven schools and colleges at one of the nation's top public research institutions and we are committed to fostering a diverse, inclusive, and academically excellent community. Over the past decade, we have made progress in increasing the diversity of our student body and our faculty. In 2020, our 5,500 undergraduate student population included 29% who self-identified as women, 26% who self-identified as persons of color, 16% who were first-generation college students, and 13% who were international students. Our 2,100 graduate student body included 29% students who self-identified as women, 16% who self-identified as a person of color, and 28% international students. The college's tenured/tenure track faculty has also diversified. In 2021, 27% of our tenured/tenure track faculty self-identify as women, 26% self-identify as people of color, and 5% are international citizens.

What We Can Offer
The salary range for this position is $100,000 - $160,000 annually commensurate with rank. Relocation expense reimbursement available.

What We Require
Candidates must have an earned Ph.D. or equivalent degree, or expect to have completed their Ph.D. at the time of starting a tenure-track faculty appointment, in a field appropriate to their tenure home department.
