We are excited to announce two postdoctoral researcher positions, both are 2 year terms.
Research Applications Lab
National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR)
Boulder, Colorado (with remote options)
Application deadline is being extended to November 12th.
We are looking for two new post-doctoral researchers to study regional climate change impacts and downscaling methods. They will work together with a hydro-climate team in the Research Applications Lab at NCAR. One will focus more on high-resolution regional simulations (link 1 below) using a simplified atmospheric model (ICAR), the other will focus more on the evaluation of different approaches to downscaling climate data for applications (link 2), including ICAR, WRF and statistical approaches. Both scientists will have the opportunity to work with stakeholders in the water management sector and and engage with the broader community of scientists at NCAR and beyond.
