The Washington State Department of Ecology<https://ecology.wa.gov/> is looking for a Senior Scientist to lead an exciting new Toxics monitoring program in large rivers. The initial focus of the program will be PCBs/toxics in rivers entering Puget Sound, a large fjord estuary in northwest Washington.

We anticipate the new program to design and build semi-permanent monitoring stations for the sampling of low-level PCBs and other toxics. The position will oversee a field lead/early career scientist and has a dedicated laboratory and equipment budget. They will also actively collaborate with many regional toxics monitoring and stakeholder groups, as well as our own regulatory groups.
