Subject: Inviting applicants for tenure-track position in Environmental and Natural Resources (ENR) Education
We are seeking to fill a new tenure-track position focused on Environmental and Natural Resources (ENR) Education here in Columbus, OH at The Ohio State University. We are looking for a leader to help chart new directions in the traditional field of 'environmental education' while working with some amazing colleagues and thoughtful/passionate students. My personal belief is that the person in this position will use science and evidenced-based practices to train the next generation of environmental educators - so this position does have a research and teaching component to it, though service is also inherently built into the activities and profession. We also hope the successful candidate is equally committed to helping advance our program and related outcomes toward greater justice, equity, and inclusion for all, and addressing the needs and interests of people and/or communities that have been traditionally marginalized.

Land Acknowledgement
The Ohio State University occupies the ancestral and contemporary lands of the Shawnee, Potawatomi, Delaware, Miami, Peoria, Seneca, Wyandotte, Ojibwe, and Cherokee peoples. The university resides on land ceded in the 1795 Treaty of Greeneville and stolen through forced removal of tribal nations as part of the Indian Removal Act of 1830. I honor and respect the diverse Indigeneous peoples who have, do, and will steward this land and acknowledge the role I have to work for social, economic, racial, and environmental justice.
