Laboratory Research Assistant: Assists laboratory personnel including office staff, technologists, supervisors, and laboratory managers in completing testing. Manages laboratory equipment and tools essential to the function of everyday activities in the lab. Initiates, monitors, completes, and reports routine to moderately complex research studies in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures. Applications close May 24, 2021.

Fundamental responsibilities:

  *       Responsible for the initiation, monitoring, completion, and reporting of routine to moderately complex research studies.
  *       Organizes and implements data review and analysis.
  *       Oversees the proper handling of laboratory specimens including processes, shipping, storage, and documentation and transfer to designated central laboratories.
  *       Conducts data quality assurance practices.
  *       Prepares research summaries and assists in progress report development.
  *       Maintains laboratory work areas and supply inventory.

Required Qualifications: B.S. in science or a health-related field

Salary: $32,000 - $36,000.
