and substrate sample collection for offline analyses, as well as operation
and maintenance of scientific instrumentation to support air quality and
meteorological measurement projects.

Key Responsibilities


*         Collect whole air canister and PUF substrate samples, according to
the project schedule

*         Assist with routine operations and maintenance of air quality and
meteorological instruments

*         Assist with troubleshooting of instruments, data acquisition
systems, software, and related equipment on an as-needed basis

*         Assist with project coordination and logistics 

*         Assist in communicating project information to project managers

*         Manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment


Required Qualifications and Skills


*         Experience completing sample collections according to a project
schedule

*         Experience following sample collection protocols

*         Reliability and dependability in making field site visits

*         Proficiency with computer hardware and software

*         A strong interest in outdoor field projects

*         A high level of accuracy, efficiency, and attention to detail

*         Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing

*         Excellent organizational, time management, problem solving, and
interpersonal skills

*         Aptitude for working both collaboratively and independently, as
required

*         Ability to lift 50 pounds

*         Valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and a reliable
vehicle


Desired Qualifications


*                     A BS degree in an environmental or physical science

*         Experience in a field technician role

*                     Experience with air quality and/or meteorology
measurements

*                     Experience with data communications equipment

*         Knowledge of analog and digital data acquisition
