at the rank of Instructor.  The hire is for a three-year probationary
period followed by continuing full-time appointment according to our

*Department of Geography*

The Department of Geography at The University of Winnipeg invites motivated
and enthusiastic candidates to apply for a probationary appointment at the
rank of Instructor.  Candidates must hold a minimum of a master’s degree in
Geography or a related discipline at the time of appointment with broad
training in earth and atmospheric system processes.

We seek an outstanding colleague with potential to inspire undergraduate
students through effective teaching in our program.  The successful
applicant will be required to instruct courses and laboratory sections in
earth and atmospheric sciences, geomorphology, and will also be expected to
develop new courses in their areas of expertise.  Experience teaching
introductory classes and labs online is considered an asset.  As well, the
successful candidate will be expected to work collegially with department
members and to participate in Departmental and University service.

 The selection committee will begin reviewing applications on February 22,
2021 and will continue until the position is filled; full consideration is
assured for applications received by Friday, February 19, 2021. Subject to
budgetary approval, this position will commence on July 1, 2021. Salary
levels will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
