SUMMARY

The UW Madison GIS Professional Programs (GISPP) is looking for a creative,
hardworking, and experienced leader who will support the continued growth
of our GIS Professional Programs. The successful candidate will have broad
knowledge and technical skills in cartography and GIS, established
professional networks, and demonstrated leadership. Our ideal candidate
will have the experience, skills, and enthusiasm needed to develop an
innovative and dynamic workplace and help us continue to build
student-focused professional GIS programs and our professional community
for years to come. More information about our current program offerings can

The GIS Professional Programs Director will report directly to the
Geography Department Chair and will work closely with the GISPP Oversight
Committee and the GISPP Coordinator. This is a resident position based at
the University of Wisconsin-Madison campus in Madison, WI. Salary is
negotiable and commensurate with experience and peer institutions.

Please note that the University of Wisconsin-Madison is engaged in a Title
and Total Compensation (TTC) project to redesign job titles and
compensation structures. As a result of the TTC project, official job
titles and salary ranges for current job postings may change, but job
duties, responsibilities, and compensation will remain the same. For more
