Dear All,

I am seeking a PhD student to join my lab group at the University of Houston to study stable isotopes (mainly clumped isotopes) starting Spring or Fall 2022. This is an NSF-funded project working on core collected from Baringo, Kenya as part of the Hominin Sites and Paleo-Lake Drilling Project http://hspdp.asu.edu/. HSPDP is a large interdisciplinary project trying to understand the drivers of human evolution. If working with paleosols and isotopes to better understand paleoclimate and human evolution sounds interesting to you, please email me at ejbeverly at uh.edu. I have a lot of information about my research group on my website: www.emilybeverly.com<http://www.emilybeverly.com> and you can read more about the Department of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences at the University of Houston here: https://uh.edu/nsm/earth-atmospheric/
