The atmospheric chemistry group at the University of Minnesota
(https://www.atmoschem.umn.edu) seeks applications for a Postdoctoral
Associate to perform research applying new satellite measurements of
atmospheric isoprene to better understand global biosphere-atmosphere
exchange. The postdoc will combine the GEOS-Chem chemical transport
model with space-based and related datasets to investigate isoprene
emissions, ecosystem-climate interactions, and their impacts on
atmospheric chemistry.
The successful candidate will join a dynamic research group that
couples measurements with modeling to examine natural and human-caused
impacts on atmospheric composition. We are based at the University of
Minnesota (UMN), which offers a rich and collaborative research
environment with ample opportunities for professional development, in
the heart of a large and diverse metropolitan area.
Please see z.umn.edu/atmoschem-pd for more details and application instructions.
