Dear Colleagues,
The Laboratory for Modeling and Observation of the Earth System (LAMOS) of the Institute of Environmental Physics (IUP) of the University of Bremen in Germany is opening:
a post-doctoral position (2.5 years contract) with a starting date of September or October 2021.
The successful candidate will work on the DFG-NSFC project AIR-CHANGES.
The main goal of the project is to analyze the role of i) chemical, ii) physical and iii) meteorological factors that drive the (regional and local) enhancement of ozone concentrations in China, despite the emission control measures taken [Action Plan on the Prevention and Control of Air Pollution].
To achieve that, numerical simulations by a small ensemble of regional and global models together with past and present in situ and space-based data of atmospheric composition will be taken into account.
