The Masters of the Environment professional graduate program (MENV<http://www.colorado.edu/menv>) at the University of Colorado Boulder invites applications for the full-time position of Senior Instructor of Environment and Natural Resources Policy in its new Outdoor Recreation Economy (ORE<http://www.colorado.edu/menv/ore>) program. MENV is an interdisciplinary professional master's degree that equips students with the knowledge, skills and experience necessary to address complex environmental challenges. MENV prepares students to become leaders in a wide range of careers in the environment, energy, natural resources and sustainability sectors. ORE creates impact for the broader outdoor industry through applied research and project delivery for organizational partners, the development of strong and productive external partnerships, and the cultivation of innovators and inclusive leaders. We are committed to supporting the entire outdoor recreation economy through innovative approaches to economic development, the management of resilient public lands and waterways, the creation of inclusive spaces, and the promotion of sustainable business practices. The successful candidate will possess significant academic as well as professional experience in environmental policy with a special focus on public lands or natural resources governance and policy. The candidate will have a deep understanding of issues facing the nation's public lands and natural resources, as well as the role of policy in addressing those. Candidates with backgrounds in law and policy in the public lands and natural resources arenas will be considered. An understanding of climate impacts, and associated societal and governmental responses is also of interest to the MENV Program.

The Masters of the Environment (MENV<http://www.colorado.edu/menv>) graduate program, within the University of Colorado Boulder's Environmental Studies Program, seeks a full-time non-tenure-track instructor and Faculty Lead for the Sustainable Food Systems track, to begin as early as January 2021. The successful candidate will possess significant academic as well as professional experience in sustainable agriculture and food systems, with an emphasis on agroecology and equity-enhancing approaches to food production and distribution. The candidate will have a nuanced, systems-oriented understanding of the perils and potential associated with the ways that humans satisfy their needs for food, fiber, and other agricultural products. MENV is especially interested in candidates with expertise at one or more of the following intersections: (i) agriculture, climate, land and natural resource management; (ii) food systems, urban planning and resilience; (iii) the food-water-energy nexus; (iv) food production and environment/public health; or (v) food production, supply chains & circular economy.
