The Role

To support the rapid growth of our business, we are seeking a Geophysics Solution Director to play a key role in ensuring Seequent remains a market leader in its field. Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer, you will establish yourself as the company's primary domain advocate and expert for your solution. Your extensive industry expertise and strong market orientation will allow you to define and champion the direction Seequent takes within the Geophysics domain. This is a full-time, permanent role to be based in either our Toronto, Calgary, Vancouver or Denver office.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
*        Develop 3- year rolling strategic plans including defining and communicating target segments, value propositions, market calculations, sales projections, and competitive landscape analysis
*        Facilitate world class customer relationship management for both internal and external customers
*        Communicate our position to market, building our brand and ensuring our continued position as a market leader
*        Report on the performance of your portfolio against targets, as well as milestones achieved and to be achieved
*        Monitor leading indicator market signals to changes in the market
*        Collaborate with Segment Directors, Product Managers, regional sales teams, and various corporate functions to ensure strategic plans are aligned and consistent
 In order to be successful in this role, you should have:
*        Practical industry experience across Seequent's vertical markets, experience in Mining is preferable
*        Masters or PhD in Geophysics
*        Demonstrable evidence of a strong market orientation; a strong "synthesizer"
*        A strong understanding of where the market is moving, not just where it is today
*        Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate with internal stakeholders to influence and enable plans in the desired direction for growth
*        Facilitative leadership skills to position yourself as a key senior member of the Seequent team
