The U.S. Forest Service (FS) United States Department of Agriculture (USDA)
seeks highly qualified candidates to fill the position of Assistant
Director for Urban and Community Forestry Programs. This position offers a
unique opportunity to help lead the Cooperative Forestry staff, working
with States, private landowners, and other partners to promote healthy
forests and livable communities throughout the United States. The position
is located in the Forest Service national headquarters in Washington, DC
and organizationally located in the Cooperative Forestry staff within the
State & Private Forestry Deputy Area.  The Assistant Director (AD) provides
technical leadership, supervision, guidance, policy development, active
planning and coordination for national level programs.
