Hi all,
Geosciences at Georgia State got a last minute lecturer search approved, so
we are looking for a physical geographer. You would teach large intro
courses, work to make intro courses available online, and could teach upper
level courses in your specialty. This is a permanent, non-tenure track

Become part of the growing faculty within the Department of Geosciences at

budgetary approval will play a central role in Geosciences’ contribution to

*Responsibilities*
The selected candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate
courses in introductory physical geography and introductory geology and
upper-level courses in the applicant's area of expertise as well as
participating in service activities at the department, college, and
university levels.

Essential Qualifications
· Ph.D. at time of hire
Preferred Qualifications
· Ability to work effectively in a collaborative setting
· Experience lecturing large, introductory courses
· A record of mentoring students of diverse backgrounds
· Experience developing on-line courses and/or lab exercises
