[ES_JOBS_NET] Postdoctoral Scholar Position in Atmospheric Dynamics at Rice University

[Pedram Hassanzadeh]

A postdoctoral scholar position in the area of the dynamics of the large-scale atmospheric circulation and weather extremes is available at Rice University to work with Pedram Hassanzadeh. Problems of particular interests are i) low-frequency variability of the extratropical circulation, and ii) future changes in the large-scale atmospheric circulation over North America and implications for extreme events.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in atmospheric dynamics, climate science, and numerical/statistical modeling. Experience with idealized and comprehensive climate models and reanalysis and archived climate datasets is strongly desired.

The start date is flexible (preferably between January and May of 2019). If interested, send
