*This post will be Fixed Term for 12 months in the first instance*

This is an exciting opportunity for a researcher to join the MRC-PHE Centre
for Environment and Health (www.environment-health.ac.uk). The post holder
will be responsible for exploring links between the environment and human
health through the analysis of very large time series datasets. They will
be part of the COPE study team (gtr.rcuk.ac.uk/projects?ref=MR/L019744/1),
which aims to reduce the frequency of hospital and GP visits by patients
with respiratory disease.

The primary analysis dataset links high resolution personal environmental
and activity measurements with health metrics. In combination with other
associated datasets, this represents the largest dataset of its kind in the
world, with well over one billion data points.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in novel statistical
or graphical analysis of large datasets relating to the environment or
health. They will join an expanding group at the cutting edge of air
pollution exposure assessment and public health research, providing strong
opportunities for continuing professional development.

The selection process will include a presentation and a panel interview.
Interviews are scheduled to be held on the 22nd July 2016.
