Dear All
Apologies for cross-posting and please don't reply to the list
We have funding for a two year research fellow at level A/B at Monash in
the broad field of groundwater-surface water interaction. The position is
described below - basically we are looking for someone to either
continue/extend our tracer-based approach or compliment it with other
techniques (eg modelling or heat). The position is open from mid year and
the tenure will be two years from the starting date. Could you promote this
to any recently finished PhD students or postdocs who you think would be
suitable and interested; have them get in touch with me if they have
questions (ian.cartwright at monash.edu).
The online link is

lLocationID=&lCategoryID=641%2C+640%2C+636&lBrandID=&stp=AW&sLanguage=en
and this should take the candidate through the application process as well
as outlining the position description and selection criteria. Applications
need to be made through this link. Closing date is May 11th AEST (although
I might extend it further).
Regards
Ian

and will also to be involved in research proposal submission to external
funding bodies and co-supervision of undergraduate and/or post graduate
students.
As the successful candidate, you will have extensive experience in research
into groundwater-surface water interaction and will have a proven record of
success in competitive research grant funding, peer-reviewed publication,
and teaching and mentoring, relative to experience.
If you believe you meet these requirements, we welcome your application.
Appointment will be made at the level deemed suitable to the selected
