We have funding for a two year research fellow at level A/B at
Monash in the broad field of groundwater-surface water interaction.
The position is described below - basically we are looking for
someone to either continue/extend our tracer-based approach or
compliment it with other techniques (eg modelling or heat). The
position is open from mid year and the tenure will be two years from
the starting date. Could you promote this to any recently finished
PhD students or postdocs who you think would be suitable and
interested; have them get in touch with me if they have questions

<p>The School of Geosciences seeks to appoint a Research Fellow to
conduct research in groundwater-surface water interaction, in
particular the application and integration of techniques such as
isotopic tracers, heat, and/or numerical modelling. In this role,
you will be expected to conduct research in this field leading to
publications and conference presentations and will also to be
involved in research proposal submission to external funding
bodies and co-supervision of undergraduate and/or post graduate
students.</p>
<p>As the successful candidate, you will have extensive experience
in research into groundwater-surface water interaction and will
have a proven record of success in competitive research grant
funding, peer-reviewed publication, and teaching and mentoring,
relative to experience. </p>
