CEDAR email: Community input on future WACCM/WACCM-X development priorities

Dear CEDAR Community,

We invite you to complete a short survey (
https://forms.gle/JQZT9PeBiwx5m7BDA) to gather inputs on future development
priorities for the CESM Whole Atmosphere Community Climate Model (WACCM,
model top ~140 km) and WACCM with thermosphere-ionosphere eXtension
(WACCM-X, model top ~500 km). Since their inception, these models have been
widely used by the research community for studying the chemistry, dynamics,
and physics of the stratosphere, mesosphere, thermosphere, and ionosphere.
To ensure that WACCM and WACCM-X continue to evolve in a manner that is
most useful to the research community, we would like you to fill out this
brief survey. The results of this survey will be used to help prioritize
future model development efforts.

The survey is short and should take less than 5 minutes of your time.
Please fill it out by January 22, 2025.
