CEDAR email: JOB OPENING: NOAA Space Weather Prediction Center Research-to-Operations (R2O) Position

GS-14 Testbed Program Coordinator position at the NOAA Space Weather
Prediction Center (SWPC) in Boulder, CO will open on Friday 9/2, and close
on Monday 9/19.

A scientist with a background in space weather observations, modeling, or
data science and familiarity with the R2O transition process would be an
ideal candidate for this Research-to-Operations focused position.

The successful applicant will be responsible for overseeing the transfer of
new and emerging scientific technologies, techniques, and data from the
research community into space weather operations. The successful candidate
will lead and participate in projects and activities to improve the
products and services of the Space Weather Prediction Center, including the
development and transition of new capabilities and prediction tools. The
successful applicant will work with the space weather forecast office to
identify the needs and requirements of forecasters and the customers of
space weather and communicate operational needs and requirements back to
the research community.
