We Invite you to submit an abstract to the AGU Fall meeting Gravity Waves
session. The abstract deadline is 29 July 2020.
*Session Title*: SA007 – Atmospheric Gravity Waves, from the Surface to the
Edge of Space
*Session Description*: Gravity waves are a vital component of the
atmospheric system at all heights. Through the transport of energy and
momentum, they play a key role in the coupling of different atmospheric
layers and regions, as well as interacting with each other, with tides and
with the background atmospheric state. This session will bring together
researchers from all branches of atmospheric dynamics, atmospheric
chemistry and space physics working on gravity waves and related problems,
from the tropospheric boundary layer to the ionosphere/thermosphere system.
We welcome talks using all techniques, including observations, modelling,
and theory.
We look forward to your participation.
Corwin Wright, Katrina Bossert, Neil Hindley, Stephen Eckermann
