Dear Colleagues,

I would like to draw your attention to the 2019 AGU session “Ionospheric and Atmospheric Monitoring of Natural Hazards and Manmade Events” co-organized by Natural Hazards and SPA-Aeronomy. The session will focus on understanding the ionospheric and atmospheric responses to impulsive disturbance events at, or near, the surface of the Earth, including earthquakes, tsunamis, volcanic eruptions, meteor impacts, severe tropospheric weather events (e.g., hurricanes, tornadoes, tropical cyclones, thunderstorms), as well as explosions, spacecraft launches, etc. Theoretical, observational, and modeling contributions are all welcome.

Please consider submitting an abstract to this session. More details can be found at https://agu.confex.com/agu/fm19/prelim.cgi/Session/76046

Best regards,
Xing Meng on behalf of conveners Elvira Astafyeva, Lucie Rolland, and Panagiotis Vergados
