TENURE-TRACK FACULTY POSITION - Climate Dynamics
Colorado State University
The Department of Atmospheric Science at Colorado State University is
seeking applicants for a tenure-track assistant or associate level
faculty position broadly in the area of climate dynamics. The Department
encourages applications from candidates with expertise in theory,
modeling and/or observations. Some preference will be given to
candidates whose research is in the areas of global-scale atmospheric
dynamics, atmosphere-ocean interaction, paleoclimate and atmospheric
energy and water cycles.
Applications from candidates with research and teaching interests that
complement the department's existing programs are particularly
encouraged. The successful candidate is expected to maintain a strong
independent research program supported through external funding, to
teach graduate-level courses, and to enhance the Department's curriculum.

potential for innovative independent and collaborative research and
excellence in teaching and advising at the graduate level.
A Ph.D. in atmospheric sciences or a closely related field is required.
